You are exactly right, not only through co...Olivia,
You are exactly right, not only through common sense, but also the eyes of the law. In a capital murder case, you should have (at the very least) physical evidence. This case had absolutely none, as in zero! If you were to search capital murder cases in Arkansas, where the defendant was found to be guilty without any physical evidence, you would be searching a long time. There are not many. The second glaring deficiency within the prosecutions case was that the main statement in which the relied was given by a person deemed mentally incompetent. This blog ties directly into your Democracy v. Republic, because the case of the West Memphis 3 was mob justice, you'd hope that Arkansans', at the very least, would learn something from this.Natehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02865785698305843400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543250216646764314.post-1588977347489887042011-08-14T19:13:53.072-07:002011-08-14T19:13:53.072-07:00I think this will be real neat. Thank you for starting this blog. I love...Olivia-
Thank you for starting this blog. I love reading your sentiments on Facebook. I try to be careful about what I comment on because of working in such a "Left" environment. As to what you wrote in this post, I wholeheartedly agree that we have become an "entitlement society." For me, it's difficult to figure out where to draw the line between compassion for those truly in need of assistance and outrage at the mentality that is threatening to overtake our country (if it hasn't already). And, I would say that education is the answer but not when it is steeped in left policies. All that to say, you make some very good points!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220911475689689754noreply@blogger.com
